Working in the Designer/ Luxury category is both challenging and rewarding. Oftentimes, the textiles are artisanal or handmade; it takes a special care and a true respect for the materials to create functional and high quality design. From the pattern to the cutting to the finishing, each step has to be done with great care and attention to detail.
I have been so lucky to work on multiple collections in this space for brands like The Elder Statesman, Karla Carranza, and custom one-of-a-kind pieces. I always learn something new and the result continues to remind me why I love fashion.
